Itziar Sicilia L.

Itziar specializes in corporate law, with extensive experience in the areas of enteprises and contract law, mergers, spin-offs and acquisitions. Prior to joining Anker Abogados, she was an associate at Rangel y Barrita S.C. and, previously, she worked as an intern and associate at prestigious law firms where she acquired experience in civil, commercial and administrative litigation, as well as in industrial property and copyright matters. In 2011 she obtained her law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

Recent experience on significant matters

• She has participated in several mergers, spin-offs and acquisitions, as well as in transactions related to foreign investment in Mexico.
• She had acted as legal advisor to important private equity investment funds in the country.
• She had participated in the negotiation and execution of several underwriting and shareholder agreements with respect to relevant companies in the technology and food industry sectors.
• She had acted as legal advisor in several investment transactions in relevant companies in the aforementioned sectors.
